10 Years of Helping Creditors Get Unstuck
Founded in 2016, Rule & Co. has been hyper-focused on legal debt recovery, driven by what we saw as a critical gap: Creditors in Malaysia were often stuck between daunting upfront legal fees that made recovery impractical, or unlicensed debt collectors that carried risk of scare tactics.
Over the past decade, we have handled over 2,000 debt recovery matters and helped recover millions of Ringgit for clients from contractors to ex-spouses. Throughout, our approach is always to prioritise negotiations and pre-court strategies.
That said, we've also learned that sometimes it's best to stop negotiating and start garnishing!
Dedicated Knowledge Base
Garnishee Order Malaysia
As one of the most popular methods of enforcing a judgment debt, it's natural that many creditors (and debtors!) in Malaysia will want to understand more about garnishee orders.
That’s why we created this dedicated knowledge base. Rather than mixing garnishee orders with the many other debt enforcement methods available, we wanted to provide a resource focused solely on this one remedy.
Here, we hope creditors will find clear, practical information on how garnishee orders in Malaysia work, what can and cannot be garnished, steps involved, and, most importantly, whether it is actually the right enforcement strategy for their specific circumstances.
